The Isle of Wight has an endless number of places to explore and entertain you and the kids, many of which are open all year round

We’ve got fantastic theme parks and amusements

Legendary Blackgang Chine and The Needles Landmark Attraction, as well as other exciting places to visit, the island also offers the oppotunity to run the ramparts of our historic castles, see how Victorian princes lived and played at Osborne, or take a trip back through time at our Roman Villas

Come up close and personal to tigers and other wildlife, discover amazing exotic species or watch as birds of prey soar over your head at our many animal attractions

You can even visit our very own home for retired donkeys!

Isle of Wight Beaches

One of our most famous features; from safe sandy shores with puddles for paddling to wilder, deserted beaches ideal for boogie boarding and surfing. No trip to the Isle of Wight would be complete without a day on the beach

For older children seeking adventure, there’s plenty of thrilling adventure activities on offer; tree climbing, mountain boarding and go karting to name a few, plus we’ve got lots of bicycle trails for the whole family to enjoy. Surrounded by sea we also have plenty of water sports to keep them entertained

We’re an all year round destination

Whether it’s a play on the beach in wellies followed by a warming drink in a local café or a visit to one of our undercover activities; soft play, swimming pools, bowling alley, ice skating or cinema – there’s always something great to do on the Isle of Wight

There are always plenty of special events taking place on the Island, which you can keep up to date with via our events page
