Ninham Farm

One of our best attributes, is our close proximity to nature.  Situated in some lovely countryside and surrounded by woodland, yet within easy reach of the safe, sandy beaches of Shanklin & Sandown

Whether you are on bike or foot, there is easy access to miles of footpaths & bridleways, making Ninham a great venue to base yourself

The sandy & safe beaches are a gentle 15min cycle away, mostly on bridleways, and you can access a large portion of the island on redundant railways lines and bridleways

America Wood

In our back garden, just a short stroll is America Woods, high oak forest with downy birch (grid reference SZ567820) is a 21.4 hectare biological Site of Special Scientific Interest and managed by the www.woodlandtrust.org.uk

Unusually for the Isle of Wight, most of this woodland is high oak forest with downy birch. Its a great place in the Spring to see the stunning display of bluebells, that blanket the woodland floor

The storms of 1987 and 1990 have created open sections gradually reverting to woodland.

Numerous badger setts have been reported and red squirrels spotted 🙂
